BioI take digital pictures. For the most part I have no idea what I'm doing. I point the camera at things, try and get them in focus and take a picture.
I occasionally mess with the camera settings and hope for the best. I am learning but it's more a 'trial and error adventure' than an actual 'learn-something-by-doing-it-again-when-it-worked-the-first-time' since I also seem to have a memory like a sieve when it comes to figuring out what I just did.
This is one of several journals I have. I decided to create one to focus mainly on my digital pics.
